How do I care for my jewellery?

The natural process of oxidisation results in tarnishing of silver jewellery over time. There are tips to prevent this from occurring and keep it looking shiny.

Day to day

Handle delicate pieces with care to prevent scratching. We also recommend avoiding spraying perfumes directly onto your jewellery as this can increase the oxidisation process. Avoid wearing your jewellery in pools and if worn in the shower avoid contact with soaps/shower gels.

Don’t use chemicals

Certain chemicals contained in regular household cleaners can cause damage to any stones and discolouration to the metal. You shouldn’t use these to clean your jewellery.

Use a soft polishing cloth

Gentle and regular cleaning with a soft, lint-free cloth will keep your jewellery looking its best and help with any natural tarnishing. We would suggest cleaning after every use, especially if you are wearing your jewellery in water. And keep your jewels in a sealed bag or airtight container when not being worn.

How will my jewellery be packaged?

Your seaglass will arrive in a branded recycled cardboard jewellery box or an organic cotton reusable pouch.

Each part of your package has been consciously selected for it's eco friendly qualities. Your jewellery is wrapped in recycled tissue paper and arrives with a recycled information card.
